Friday Five

1. We’ve been eating corn on the cob this week from the Amish market. Deliciousness. Rusty looked at me when we were eating the last of it and said, “Get some more this weekend,” right as I was about to say, “I’m getting more this weekend.” Great minds.

2. I handed Rusty an empty bowl the other night (he’s the dish washer in our house). As I gave it to him I smiled and said, “Team work!” He thought I said, “Go work,” and looked taken aback. LOL! No, babe, I’m definitely not ordering you to go wash the bowl.

3. Rusty gave me a beautiful bracelet for Valentine’s day that I lost about a month later. I was devastated. Well, he bought it for me again for my birthday. What a sweetheart. He’s a keeper. ♥

4. My car is making a weird humming noise that stops when I turn right. It’s in the shop today. Here’s hoping they can figure out what is wrong, fix it quickly, and not cost and arm and a leg.

5. Rusty hit a deer this morning. He hit the butt of it with the right corner of this front bumper. His headlight is still working but his running light isn't. I'm just thankful that there was not a car coming from the opposite direction. It would have been a lot worse. Praise God!
