Friday Five

1.  I finally got around to adding ingredient amounts to a recipe I have posted a while back - Beef Daube Provencal. Somehow I originally forgot to add this minor detail. Whoopsie!

2.  My supervisor at work gave me a beautiful glass today. Do you know the Tervis tumblers...the ones that keep cold drinks cold and hot drinks hot? They are pretty awesome. Anyway, she gave me one that has cherry blossoms all around it. It is so so SO PRETTY! ♥ See? This picture actually doesn't do it justice.

3.  We had a chili cook-off at work this week. I made my White Chicken Chili. I came in second in my category. I was robbed! For realz, people, I so should have won. I wanted that trophy! LOL. Yes, we had these awesome little trophies for the winners. Hilarious!

4.  I had training this week. It was actually a good thing for work, but I had to take it on my own time. My! Own! Time! Welcome to the life of a federal contractor.

5.  I'm getting my hair cut tonight. I've narrowed down my hair style choices to two, so we'll see what happens at the stylist. I still have to grow part of my hair out, so it won't be in the eventual style yet...but I'm working towards it!
