Friday Five

1.  I'm going to Wegman’s, the mecca of grocery stores, tomorrow with my BFF today. I'm so excited! I have my grocery list all made up. It includes Taiwanese instant noodles, Chinese black tea, brisket, apple & onion sausage, and these delightful little store brand appetizers.

2.  Anyone who has blogged for very long likes followers and comments. I know from my stats that I get quite a bit of traffic from friends’ blogs. I love that! The more the merrier…and if you wanted to actually follow me there is a handy dandy little link over on the right that can help you with that. Just giving a not so subtle hint throwin’ that out there in case you were not aware.

However, there is one person that I get consistent traffic from that I do not know - karensbloglist. Are you a Karen that I already know? Are you a friend of a friend?  Inquiring minds want to know! I have tried to click on the link in my stats area to visit you, but it blocks me. Total bummer.

3.  Rusty and I watch a cop show called Blue Bloods. We love this show, but that isn’t what I really want to tell you. One of the Blue Bloods production companies is called, Paw in Your Face. The logo comes up at the end of each episode something like this:
PAW IN YOUR FACE

Every single time we see the logo, Rusty and I yell PAW IN YOUR FACE, and then we start laughing. Ah, good times.

4.  I have a good friend, who shall remain anonymous for now, that is moving to sunny Florida where her hubby just got a job. I am so happy for them! Mostly, I’m happy that she will live at least a closer to me. Wait, what? Say what now? Oh. Was that out loud? Erm, I’m so happy to see good things happen for them. Yes, definitely that.

5.  I bought a Bissell steam mop thingy a little while ago. I finally used it on Monday and love it! I highly recommend it. I will say, however, that the sweeper part of it doesn't work so well.

  1. Hey! I think I know your friend! Ahem. :D

Paw in Your Face made me laugh! I think I'll try that next time we watch the show. I'm sure Scott will think I'm crazy! lol!

  2. Hi Rachel,
I'm Karen from Karen's Blog List...I like my own list better than using google's reader. Except I lose a bit of my anonymity! :) Found your blog though Thelma's, who is an 'in real life' friend. I met Thelma about three or four years ago when my husband and I were ready to find others in the infertility world. My blog is miraclesofgrace.blogspot.com. Love to have you come visit there too!
