Ingredients 101: Black Bean Sauce
Black Bean Sauce
Option A. Black Bean Sauce is what I usually use. I can find it in a lot of my local grocery stores.
Option B. Fermented Black Beans are small, black soybeans that have been preserved in salt. Soak for a half hour or so in water before being added to a dish.
Option C. Black Bean Garlic Sauce - you can easily use this if a recipe calls for both black bean sauce and garlic.
Option D. Chili Black Bean Sacue - you can easily use this if a recipe calls for both black bean sauce and chilies.
