Last night I needed to take all the decorations off our Christmas tree. I like to leave it all up longer, but we are going away for a long weekend and I did not want to let it wait until we came home.
I am, however, leaving the rest of the Christmas decorations out. I want to enjoy those for a little while longer.
How soon do you put everything away?
I did it yesterday! I like the build up of Christmas, but once it's over, I'm ready to put them away and get back to the regular decor.
ReplyDeleteI agree. SUCH a let down. :( I'm typically not in a hurry to take it all down, even though it doesn't take me long to get sick of it still being up. I just hate the undecorating process so much, I delay it as long as possible. I've left them up through mid-January before.
ReplyDeleteThe outside Christmas lights are even worse, as we like to wait until the weather warms up. We do stop turning them on after the new year, but *down* is another thing altogether! We may or may not have left them up well into March one year. :D
I HATE taking them down.
