Taiwanese Tuesday
Hi there, and welcome to Taiwanese Tuesday! :)
Taiwanese Tuesdays will mostly be comprised of Taiwanese cooking tidbits, hints, advice, and recipes. I may throw in a few facinating facts about my beloved island and some photos from when I lived there as a child/visited as an adult.
If I thought I had a lot of knowledge before my latest cookbook find, then I must be a genius now. I've been reading Stir-Frying to the Sky's Edge by Grace Young. When I ordered it online I thought it was a simple cookbook, but it is so much more. The author teaches everything about woks and stir-fry. In fact, it seems that only half of the book is recipes, the other half is information. It's been facinating. I knew quite a bit about Taiwanese recipes themselves, but now I'm learning about the art of cooking. I love it and have found that I can think of so much to say about it. Thus, Taiwanese Tuesday is born!
