Birthday festivities

I left my camera at my friend's house. Bummer.

Anyway, last night Rusty took me for dinner to a local seafood place. It was YUMMY! I had Maryland Crab Soup, spiced shrimp, a crabcake, fries, and asparagus. Boy was I stuffed. We took a little drive and ended up stopping for some R.ita's ice on the way home.

Today we went to church at our local baseball team's stadium. Our church has 4 sister churches and we all met together. I had a couple friends sing to me while we were there. Good times. Hot times. I got a little bit of sun while we were singing the worship songs. During the sermon I kept the sun off with an umbrella that was handed out to the first 1,000 people (or whoever wanted one). When I upload my pictures you'll see a sea of umbrellas. :-)

After church we went to one of my BFF's (L) house for lunch. They grilled up steak and lamb served with fresh corn, salad, and rice on the side. L made cupcakes for me - yellow with chocolate frosting. :-P We spent the afternoon simply hanging out and talking with L and family, and L's sister and brother-in-law. It was wonderful.

It's a good day to turn 35. And the whole country celebrated with me!

Tomorrow Rusty's parents are taking us out for dinner. I haven't cooked in days! Heehee.
